The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is one of the hottest midrange smartphones in the market right now. The new Galaxy A Series smartphone brings a faster processor and other awesome features like ultra-fast 5G connectivity and an ultra-smooth display. But in our experience with the Galaxy A52s 5G, did you know it’s decent for gaming as well? Here’s why:

A more powerful processor

The Galaxy A52s 5G is now using a Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset. It comes with faster Qualcomm Kryo 670 CPU cores and an Adreno 642L GPU. These features give the smartphone a 10% improvement from its predecessor in terms of graphics processing.

In our benchmark, the Galaxy A52s 5G got a 3D Mark Wildlife score of  2357, which is twice the score from the Galaxy A52 5G. The Galaxy A52s 5G also got higher Geekbench scores on both single-core and multi-core.

When it comes to gaming, Genshin Impact was noticeably smoother even at heavy scenes and it handled the game even at high graphics settings. In PUBG Mobile, we experienced smooth graphics settings with up to 60fps, which is also an upgrade from the Galaxy A52 5G.

Fast 5G Connectivity

One of the biggest feats of the Galaxy A52s 5G is 5G. This is definitely an upgrade from the Snapdragon 750G 5G since the Galaxy A52s 5G got an ultrafast 5G connectivity thanks to the Snapdragon X53 modem. The Snapdragon X53 modem offers a faster speed and in our usage with the Galaxy A52s 5G. We got speeds up to 150Mbps and it only took us a few seconds to download a 100MB patch in a game.

The Galaxy A52s 5G also gave us better latency in games providing a lag-free experience on the Galaxy A52s 5G when playing games like Genshin Impact, Call of Duty Mobile, League Of Legends: Wild Rift, and PUBG Mobile.

Smoother and better display

The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ sAMOLED Infinity-O display. For its size, the display is crisp, vivid, and superior compared to most smartphones in the market. It also comes with 800 nits for a brighter display and an Eye Comfort Shield that lessens the blue light for better comfort on your eyes.

The display also features a 120Hz refresh rate so whenever I’m playing games and just browsing the web, I can experience smooth scrolling. When it comes to playing, some games are even capable of going up to more than 90fps which is a rare sight to see on a mid-range smartphone.

Long battery life

Inside the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is a 4,500mAh battery and a 25W Super Fast Charging Technology. In our experience with the smartphone, the Galaxy A52s 5G lasted for one day. When gaming, you’ll be happy to know that the smartphone can last for hours even when I play 3D-heavy games like Genshin Impact.

Improved ecosystem

Samsung has one of the best ecosystems right now. Whenever I play games on the smartphone, I can pair the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 to my Galaxy A52s 5G for a more immersive and better gaming experience. I can also pair it with my Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic so I don’t get distracted from notifications whenever I play mobile games.

When it comes to the software, the Galaxy A52s 5G comes with an advanced game booster that lets me monitor the temperature of the smartphone and memory usage. It even has a priority mode where I can block incoming calls and notifications. It will also close other apps so you can focus on your game and improve its performance.

Play anywhere, anytime

The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is one of the few Galaxy A smartphones to sport IP67 water and dust resistance. With this feature, I don’t have to worry about playing games anywhere, even when I’m at a pool party or drinking with friends. Using the smartphone at the beach won’t be a problem as well since it is also dust-resistant.

Those are just some of the reasons why I love playing games on the Galaxy A52s 5G. It’s way more powerful and it comes with a lot of features. It also has an ultra-fast 5G connectivity. If you’re thinking of getting one, the Galaxy A52s 5G is now available nationwide in 8+128GB for PHP 22,990 SRP and 8+256GB for PHP 24,990.
