Apple has unveiled the iPhone 17 which now comes with a smoother and better 120Hz refresh rate which is what most consumers has been looking for at the iPhone but it will still come with the same design.

The display of the iPhone 17 has been upgraded to reach up to 2,800 nits peak brightness and it now comes with a refresh rate up to 120Hz for smoother scrolling.

The standard iPhone 17 is powered by the A19 chip. Apple is promising a 40% faster CPU speeds vs. the iPhone 15 and 80% faster in GPU for gaming. It also features an 18MP center stage camera on the front and also a 48MP main camera along with the ultra-wide angle lens.
The iPhone 17 series will be available in multiple finishes, starting at CA $1129 for the base model. Pre-orders open on September 12, with availability beginning September 19, 2025.
