New leaked CAD-based renders of Apple’s long-rumored iPhone Fold suggest that the company’s first foldable iPhone could look quite different from existing foldables on the market, with a dimensions similar to an OPPO Find N series smartphone.

According to the leaks, the iPhone Fold may measure about 120.6 mm by 83.8 mm when folded and be roughly 9.6 mm thick in that state, giving it a broader appearance that some reports compare to the shape of the BlackBerry Passport rather than the taller foldables from Samsung and others.

Once unfolded, the device is rumored to open up into a larger display of around 7.76 inches, approaching the screen size of smaller tablets. Leaked details also point to a book-style foldable design, prioritizing a wide landscape orientation over a taller aspect, which could benefit activities like multitasking, video watching, and web browsing. Other rumours from supply chain sources mention Apple opting for side-mounted Touch ID instead of Face ID to reduce internal thickness, as well as a premium build and high-end chip expected for a 2026 release.
Apple has not officially confirmed the iPhone Fold or provided any design details, but these CAD renders add to the growing picture of what could be Apple’s first entry into the foldable smartphone market if it launches in late 2026.
