Lenovo unveils Legion Go Fold Concept with foldable display and multi-mode gaming flexibility

Lenovo has introduced the Legion Go Fold Concept recently and it is showcasing a new direction for handheld PC gaming with a foldable POLED display and flexible gaming modes. The concept builds on the Legion Go lineup’s focus on portability and adaptability.

The Legion Go Fold Concept features a foldable display that expands from 7.7 inches to 11.6 inches, allowing users to switch between different usage scenarios. This design enhances the handheld’s versatility, enabling immersive gameplay, multitasking, and productivity on a single device.

Flexible gaming modes with foldable display design

The device supports multiple configurations to suit different environments. In Standard Handheld Mode, the compact 7.7-inch screen with detachable controllers delivers a traditional handheld gaming experience. Vertical Split-Screen Mode allows users to game on one portion of the display while streaming content or viewing guides on the other.

For a more immersive experience, Horizon Full Screen Mode expands the display to its full 11.6-inch size, providing a larger canvas for gaming. The Expanded Desktop Mode enables a laptop-like setup using a wireless keyboard with touchpad, while the right controller can function as a vertical mouse for enhanced control.

Performance and gaming technology

The Legion Go Fold Concept is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor, paired with 32GB of RAM to support demanding titles and multitasking. A 48Wh battery is designed to balance performance and efficiency for extended gaming sessions.

The detachable right controller integrates a small display that functions as a touchpad, performance monitor, and customizable hotkey interface, adding further flexibility to gameplay and system management.
