PLDT Smart SME Nation’s biggest annual convention for MSMEs, Tech Island, is back to help every Filipino MSMEs discover the digital landscape and to get more knowledge about their businesses.
In its third year, the TechIsland’s theme is a story of overcoming challenges, embracing change and conquering opportunities. Some of the known speakers at TechIsland are ePLDT CEO Eric R. Alberto, Merlee Jayme of DENTSU Jayme Syfu, PLDT Chief Strategy Officer Winston Damarillo, Laurence Cua, the general manager of Uber Manila and Alfredo Tan, Facebook Canada Group Director of Global Marketing Solutions and Facebook Philippines Interim Country Director.
There were different breakout sessions at TechIsland and they’re targeted towards different specific segments of an organization and these are The Captain for CEOs and owners, The Navigator for sales and marketing, The Trader for procurement, and The Engineer for the operation and IT.
All of the sessions are powered by the business solutions from PLDT Smart SME Nation and for the first time, the TechIsland were opened to the general public on a first-come-first-served basis.
