Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series at Galaxy Unpacked at San Francisco, California. The lineup consists of the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, bringing a thinner design, new display tech, faster charging speeds, and more Galaxy AI features.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Design

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Series retains a familiar look from previous models but Samsung has made improvements as expected. Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Display

All three models feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with the Galaxy S26 getting a 6.3-inch panel, the Galaxy S26+ at 6.7 inches, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra at 6.9 inches. The standout display feature this year is the new Privacy Display which is exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. This is a hardware-level privacy filter built directly into the display, eliminating the need for third-party privacy screen protectors.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Chipset

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 while the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ run on Samsung’s Exynos 2600 chipset. For RAM and storage, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ come with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The Galaxy S26 Ultra goes up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Cameras

The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ feature a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP telephoto. The Galaxy S26 Ultra retains its 200MP main camera along with a 50MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto at 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP telephoto with 10x zoom.
On the software side, Samsung has added a Horizontal Lock feature for video recording that stabilizes footage in a way similar to action cameras.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Battery and Charging

The Galaxy S26 now comes with a 4,300mAh battery, a bump from last year’s model. The Galaxy S26+ retains a 4,900mAh battery while the Galaxy S26 Ultra stays at 5,000mAh.
Charging speeds have been improved across the board with SuperCharge 3.0. Samsung claims the Galaxy S26 Ultra can reach 75% in 30 minutes.
