Xiaomi has just unveiled that the global version of the Xiaomi 17 Series is coming at the Mobile World Congress 2026. The two flagships are in the 17 series and of course, it still has the Xiaomi’s ongoing imaging partnership with LeicaX
Xiaomi 17: Compact Flagship with a Large Battery

The standard Xiaomi 17 sports a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED M10 display with a resolution of 2656 x 1220 pixels, a variable 1–120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. The screen is protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass.
Under the hood, it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 built on a 3nm process, paired with an Adreno 840 GPU and 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options are 256GB and 512GB, both using UFS 4.1 flash memory. The device runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3.
On the camera side, the Xiaomi 17 carries a Leica-branded triple 50MP main sensor with a 1/1.31-inch Light Fusion 950 chip and f/1.67 aperture with Hyper OIS, a 50MP ultrawide with a 102-degree field of view, and a 50MP telephoto offering 2.6x optical zoom with macro support. The front camera is also a 50MP unit with autofocus and 4K video recording.
The global variant ships with a 6,330mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, along with 22.5W reverse charging. Xiaomi claims the battery retains 80% health after 1,600 charging cycles. The Xiaomi 17 carries an IP68 rating and features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. It is available in four colors: Black, Blue, Pink, and Green.
European pricing starts at Euro 999 for the 12GB/256GB variant and Euro 1,099 for the 12GB/512GB model.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra: A Camera-First Flagship

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra comes with a larger 6.9-inch 2K M10 OLED LTPO display, also running at 120Hz with a 3,500-nit peak brightness. The display supports Dolby Vision and is protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass 3.0.
It comes with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and it goes up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The highlight is its triple Leica camera system which is a 50MP main sensor using a 1-inch Light Hunter chip with variable aperture, a 50MP ultrawide with macro support, and a 200MP periscope telephoto with continuous zoom capability. The front camera is a 50MP unit with 4K video support.
The global variant of the Ultra packs a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge. It carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, and is available in Black, White, and Starlit Green.
European pricing begins at Euro 1,499 for the 16GB/512GB variant and goes up to Euro 1,699 for the 16GB/1TB configuration.
The Xiaomi 17 series global rollout is now underway. Regional pricing and availability for other markets, including the Philippines, have yet to be announced.
