2K has officially released Sid Meier’s Civilization VII on Apple Arcade, expanding the strategy franchise to Apple’s subscription gaming platform. The launch allows Apple Arcade subscribers to play Civilization VII across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV with no ads or in-app purchases.
Civilization VII on Apple Arcade delivers the turn-based strategy gameplay the series is known for, with the players building and expanding civilizations from ancient times to the modern era. The game supports touch controls optimized for mobile devices such as the iPhone and iPad, while also offering cross-device progression through Apple’s ecosystem including to other devices such as the Mac.
The Apple Arcade version includes a curated experience designed for both new and returning players, with streamlined onboarding and interface adjustments suited for portable play. Multiplayer and progression features are integrated to support long-term gameplay across supported Apple devices.
