CD Projekt Red has offered fans their first look at the upcoming The Witcher 4, sharing a tech demo during the State of Unreal 2025 event. The highly anticipated RPG is being developed using Unreal Engine 5, which will bring significant visual and gameplay upgrades for The Witcher 4.
During the event, CD Projekt Red presented a behind-the-scenes look at early development footage, highlighting improved character models, dynamic environments, and enhanced lighting effects made possible by Unreal Engine 5. In their demo, they mentioned that they’re using a standard PS5 and yet, it does show an amazing graphics overall.
While The Witcher 4 is still in early development, the tech demo reveals the studio’s commitment to delivering a visually stunning and immersive experiences. CD Projekt Red has yet to confirm a release date or official title for the game, but the project is expected to launch on PlayStation 5 and other platforms.
