ASUS Fonepad Note 6 now available!

ASUS Fonepad Note 6

Do you think that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is too expensive for you? or the 5.7” isn’t the right fit for you? You might want to look at the Intel-powered ASUS Fonepad Note 6. Don’t confuse the Fonepad with the Padfone because this one isn’t the one that has a tablet dock. So what can we expect with this phone? Well, you got a 6” Full HD display and there’s a stylus too if you don’t want to use your fingers as an input. Unfortunately, there’s no LTE inside and the Intel Atom processor inside it isn’t as powerful as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 but hey, this is probably one of the most affordable phablets with a Full HD display. Why don’t you check out the full specifications after the break.

ASUS Fonepad Note 6 Specifications

  • 164.8mm x 88.8mm x 10.3mm
  • 6” Super IPS+ LCD 1920×1080
  • 2 GHz Intel Atom Z2580 Dual-Core processor
  • PowerVR SGX544Mp2
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 16 GB with MicroSD card slot
  • 8 MP AF Camera with 1.2 MP front Camera
  • NFC
  • HSPA+
  • 3200mAh battery
  • Stylus
  • Android 4.2

The Intel Atom processor inside is getting old already and it might be replaced by a new generation of Intel Atom processor on 2014. There’s no LTE and LED flash too which might be a big deal breaker for you guys. I think ASUS want to position this device as a tablet first and phone second. But hey, it’s nice to see a phablet that came from ASUS. It is available right now at Memo Express with a SRP of P19,995 with a free flip cover case
