HUAWEI has officially launched the HUAWEI Band 11 and HUAWEI Band 11 Pro in the Philippines, bringing smartwatch-like features to a slimmer and more affordable fitness band form factor.

According to Huawei, the new Band 11 Series is designed to bridge the gap between traditional fitness trackers and full-sized smartwatches by integrating a larger AMOLED display, built-in GPS, and advanced health tracking tools in an ultra-light device.

Prices start at Php2,399 for the standard Band 11, while the Band 11 Pro retails for Php4,499.

Slim and lightweight design with a larger AMOLED display

One of the highlights of the Band 11 Series is its slim design. Both models measure 8.99mm thin and weigh between 16 to 18 grams, making them among the lightest fitness bands available.

Despite the compact form factor, the devices feature a 1.62-inch AMOLED display, which is 27% larger than the previous generation. The screen has a 482 × 286 resolution and 347 pixels per inch (PPI), allowing users to view notifications, health metrics, and workout data more clearly.

Brightness is also improved across the lineup. The Band 11 Pro reaches 2,000 nits peak brightness, while the Band 11 delivers 1,500 nits, making the display easier to read outdoors.

The Band 11 Pro comes with a nylon-woven strap that is antibacterial and water-repellent, while the standard Band 11 features a breathable, skin-friendly strap designed for everyday comfort.

100+ sports modes and built-in GPS for phone-free workouts

For fitness tracking, the Band 11 Series supports over 100 sports modes, covering activities such as running, cycling, swimming, and strength training.

Both models include auto-detection for workouts, allowing the band to recognize when a user starts exercising and automatically begin tracking.

The Band 11 Pro adds Independent GPS (GNSS), enabling accurate route tracking without relying on a smartphone. This allows users to run, cycle, or train outdoors while leaving their phone behind.

Additional running-focused features include:

  • AI Running Plan, which provides training guidance and performance predictions
  • Track Run Mode, which detects stadium running lanes and corrects distance tracking
  • Running posture analysis, measuring ground contact time, vertical oscillation, and balance

The Pro model also includes auto-pause detection, ensuring rest time is not mistakenly included in workout data.

Meanwhile, the Band 11 Series introduces Wheelchair Mode, which tracks wheelchair pushes instead of steps and supports wheelchair-specific workouts.

HUAWEI Band Series Variants

Health tracking with sleep monitoring and HRV analysis

Beyond fitness tracking, the Band 11 Series also includes several health monitoring tools designed for everyday use.

Both models feature HUAWEI TruSleep 4.0, which provides detailed sleep analysis, including breathing awareness and sleep stage breakdowns. The system also offers sleep charts, HRV trends, and recovery insights directly on the device.

Additionally, the bands support CE-certified pulse-wave arrhythmia analysis, which monitors irregular heart rhythms through passive background tracking.

Combined with all-day heart rate variability (HRV) monitoring, these tools aim to provide a clearer view of stress levels, recovery, and overall wellness.

Up to 14 days of battery life

Battery life remains a key focus of the Band 11 Series.

According to HUAWEI, the devices can deliver up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge, depending on usage.

Charging is also relatively fast, with a full recharge taking around 40 to 60 minutes, allowing users to quickly top up the device before resuming daily activities.

Smart features for everyday convenience

Aside from fitness and health tracking, the Band 11 Series also includes several convenience features designed for daily use.

These include GCash Watch Pay, which allows users to make QR payments directly from the band, as well as Quick Replies for responding to messages without needing to take out a phone.

The devices are also compatible with both Android and iOS smartphones, enabling cross-platform connectivity through the HUAWEI Health app.
