Lenovo unveils the ThinkPad X1 Fold, the first foldable PC

At CES 2020, Lenovo has unveiled the details of the first foldable PC, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold. This notebook is an always-connected PC and it is powered by Intel Core processors with Intel Hybrid Technology. The foldable device will come with Windows 10X and it is expected to be available this mid-2020.

So why do you need a foldable device like this? Well, there are many use cases for the ThinkPad X1 Fold. When folded, you can use the half of the device as your keyboard or even use the Bluetooth Mini Fold Keyboard by just placing it on the device and it will automatically detect the keyboard and Windows 10X will adjust the software for that.

You can also use the tablet unfolded in where you can take advantage of the large 13.3 inch OLED display and of course, use it in landscape mode and use the Bluetooth keyboard for the device.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold will come with a pOLED display so you’ll be sure that the device’s display is strong enough for folding. The ThinkPad X1 Fold will come with Windows 10 but Windows 10x will come at a later date. The ThinkPad X1 fold is expected to start at $2499 (Php126,986~). The ThinkPad X1 Fold stand is expected to be available at a later date.
