OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Atlas, a new web browser with ChatGPT integrated directly into its interface. This offers the users a better way to browse, search, and complete tasks with the assistance of ChatGPT
ChatGPT Atlas merges browsing and AI interaction in one place. This allows users to access search results, chat responses, and multimedia results in a single view. It can also analyze webpages, summarize information, and automate tasks without switching tabs.
The browser supports browser memories, which let ChatGPT recall relevant context from websites users visit, improving suggestions and continuity between sessions. Users have full control over these memories and can delete them anytime.
Atlas includes an Agent Mode, which allows ChatGPT to perform research, book appointments, and plan events directly within the browsing environment. Privacy controls let users decide which websites ChatGPT can access, while incognito mode ensures no data or history is saved.
ChatGPT for Atlas Availability
ChatGPT Atlas is now available worldwide for macOS users, with Windows, iOS, and Android versions coming soon. It’s accessible to Free, Plus, Pro, and Go users, as well as in beta for Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans.
