POCO has officially introduced the POCO X8 Pro Series in the Philippines, expanding its performance-focused lineup with three new models: the POCO X8 Pro Max, POCO X8 Pro, and the limited POCO X8 Pro – Iron Man Edition.
With a clear focus on delivering flagship-grade performance, long battery life, and enhanced user experience, the new series signals POCO’s push to redefine what users can expect from performance-driven smartphones at competitive price points.
Next-Generation Performance Powered by MediaTek
At the core of the POCO X8 Pro Series is a significant leap in processing power.
Leading the lineup, the POCO X8 Pro Max debuts globally with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s, a 3nm chipset designed for high efficiency and performance. It features a 4+4 all-big-core CPU architecture with clock speeds reaching up to 3.73GHz, delivering an AnTuTu score exceeding 3 million.
Meanwhile, the POCO X8 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra, offering improved GPU performance and better energy efficiency compared to its predecessor.
Both devices support hardware-level ray tracing, enabling more realistic lighting and reflections in supported games. In addition, POCO’s WildBoost Optimization technology helps stabilize frame rates and optimize power consumption during intensive gaming sessions.
To maintain consistent performance, the Pro Max model integrates a 3D IceLoop Cooling System, while the Pro variant uses a dual-layer cooling setup for effective thermal management.
Large Battery Capacity with Fast Charging Support
Battery performance is another highlight of the POCO X8 Pro Series.
The POCO X8 Pro Max features an 8,500mAh battery, offering up to two days of usage on a single charge under typical conditions. On the other hand, the POCO X8 Pro comes with a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, balancing capacity with a more compact form factor.
Both models support 100W fast charging, allowing quick top-ups, as well as 27W reverse wired charging for powering other devices.
Additionally, smart charging features are built in to regulate temperature and optimize charging efficiency for long-term battery health.
High-Brightness Displays and Dolby Atmos Audio
The POCO X8 Pro Series is equipped with displays designed for both indoor and outdoor use.
The POCO X8 Pro Max features a 6.83-inch panel, while the POCO X8 Pro uses a 6.59-inch display, both capable of reaching up to 3,500 nits peak brightness for improved visibility under direct sunlight.
The lineup also supports 3840Hz PWM dimming and TÜV Rheinland certifications, aimed at reducing eye strain during extended use.
For audio, the Pro Max variant includes dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, delivering a more immersive listening experience across media and gaming.
Premium Design with Durability Features
In terms of build, the POCO X8 Pro Series combines premium materials with durability.
The POCO X8 Pro Max uses a metal frame paired with a fiberglass back, while the Pro model focuses on a slimmer, more compact design with ultra-thin bezels.
Both devices are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, offering resistance against dust, water, and harsh environmental conditions.
Additionally, the series introduces a dynamic RGB lighting system integrated into the camera module, providing customizable lighting effects for notifications, charging, and gaming.
AI Cameras and Smart Software Features
For imaging, both models are equipped with a 50MP main camera and a 20MP front camera.
The POCO X8 Pro Max uses a Light Fusion 600 sensor, while the POCO X8 Pro features the Sony IMX882, enabling detailed and consistent image output across different lighting conditions.
On the software side, the lineup runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, offering a more connected and intelligent experience.
Features include Google Gemini integration and Circle to Search, allowing users to access information quickly and perform tasks more efficiently.
Other additions such as Ticket Purchase Mode aim to improve responsiveness during high-demand transactions, while Xiaomi Offline Communication enables voice calls without network connectivity in certain conditions.
Iron Man Edition Expands POCO’s Marvel Collaboration
As part of its continued partnership with Marvel, POCO also introduced the POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition.
The special edition features a black-and-gold design inspired by Iron Man’s armor, along with a customized user interface that extends the theme across the system experience.

The POCO X8 Pro Series is now available in the Philippines via Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop, with an early bird sale running from March 17 to March 26, 2026.
