Intel is being aggressive to mobile devices lately and they want their processors to be used on every device that we use everyday. A few days ago they’ve also launched their newest generation processors for different platforms.

Intel processors now come in different form factors and sizes. One of them caught my eye and it’s the Intel Skull Canyon NUC. NUC means next unit of computing and Intel is spearheading this small desktop concept. So why is it interesting? Well, because NUCs are really powerful and this time, it can now do gaming.

This tiny device comes with an Intel Core i7-6770HQ processor along with the Iris Pro 580 GPU. The GPU might not be enticing to everyone but hey, did you know that you can install an external GPU on this one like the Razer Core. Yeah, that technology now exists thanks to Intel’s Thunderbolt 3.

But of course, the Intel Skull Canyon NUC comes with PCI-E SSDs and it can also have a fast DDR4 memory. The NUC also have the basic connectivities that you need including Displayport, HDMI, USB 3.0 ports, headphone jack, SD Card slot, Gigabit LAN, and IR sensor.
