Aside from the launch of the new iPhones yesterday along with the accessories, Sony also held its Playstation meeting in where they unveiled their newest Playstation 4s. Yep, they have introduced the Playstation 4 Slim and the Playstation 4 Pro. So what’s up with these two Playstation consoles that were just launched?

The PS4 Slim is basically the slimmer and lighter version of the PlayStation 4. But of course, not only that the PS4 Slim is lighter and consumes less space, it is now more energy efficient by up to 34%. The design is still similar to the original with the slanted body design and a body slightly angled. The PS4 Slim will be available this September 24th with an SRP of P17,300 for the 500GB variant while the 1TB variant will cost you P18,900

The other product that was launched at the event was the Playstation 4 Pro. Basically, this is the more powerful PS4 but it still belongs to the current generation of consoles. So, why did Sony created this console? Well, the PS4 Pro is more powerful and it comes with HDR imaging technology. The PS4 Pro is best used in 4K TVs so you can now enjoy PS4 games at a better and higher quality. But don’t worry because current generation games will still run on the PS4 Pro but it will now have a better graphics compared to the slim and original PS4. The PS4 Pro has an SRIP of P22,990 and the availability will be announced at a later date.
