When it comes to the notebook market, there are only a few innovations when it comes to design but with the new ASUS Zenbook Pro, not only we get a powerful hardware and a really cool design inside, the ASUS Zenbook Pro also got something that most notebooks don’t have — a touchpad with a touchscreen display that acts as a second display for the notebook.

The screenpad of the notebook is a Windows Precision Touchpad with a 5.5-inch Full HD display. Navigating on the touchpad feels nice as it protected by Gorilla Glass and it’s not just that, it also has a lot of intelligent features that can help you in your productivity. The Screenpad can run apps including Calculator, Music Player, NumKey, Launcher, and ASUS Sync that you can use to sync to your smartphone.

There will also be selected desktop apps that can be used as an extension of the display on the Screenpad including Microsoft Office applications. There will also be a support for playing YouTube videos on the Screenpad using Chrome.

ASUS has also called out developers who want to develop apps for the Screenpad as there will be apps that will be available on the Microsoft Store that will be able to utilize the Screenpad of the Zenbook Pro.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro will be available in two sizes — Zenbook Pro 14 (UX480) and Zenbook Pro 15 (UX580) and as expected, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 will have better hardware specifications compared to the smaller one.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 will come with an up to Intel Core i9 Hexa-Core Processor, up to 16GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM, and up to 1TB of PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD, fingerprint scanner, and an up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti GPU. The notebook will also come with a 15-inch NanoEdge 4K UHD display with a really thin bezel and a really impressive Delta-E value for a very color accurate colors on the display.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 is the smaller ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 with an ASUS ErgoLift Hinge Mechanism that lifts the keyboard for better keyboard typing. The notebook will come with an Intel Core i7 Processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q and surprisingly, Intel Optane. It will also come with a Full HD NanoEdge Display, face recognition and a built-in support for Amazon Alexa services.

The ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 will be available this June 2018 while the ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 is expected to be launched at a later date.
