Honor Philippines has just announced a shocking news today as the company has announced the SRP of their latest gaming smartphone to hit the country, the Honor Play and yes, the smartphone is arriving in the Philippines this August 11.

The Honor Play is powered by Kirin 970 processor which is also used by the Huawei Mate 10 Series and the Huawei P20 series but this is the first smartphone to sport the all-new GPU turbo upgrade which will drastically improve the gaming experience on the smartphone. 

But here’s the interesting part about the smartphone, the Honor Play will be arriving in the country and it is priced at Php15,990 which will go head to head with most mid-range smartphones and it will also come with 4GB RAM and up to 64GB of expandable storage via MicroSD card slot up to 256GB.

The GPU turbo of the Honor Play can improve the graphics processing of the smartphone by 60% and reducing the SoC energy consumption by 30%. This is actually amazing especially for gamers as there a lot of games that are actually crying out for more power.

If you are interested in this smartphone, you may pre-order the Honor Play this August 11 at SM City Fairview and they’ll be able to get a free JBL Clip 2 starting this August 13 which is also the day in where the Honor Play will be available in the country. 

The price? Well, the Honor Play will hit the market for only Php15,990. I know. Freakin amazing.

  1. Duh huawei has an in house soc called Kirin, of course they can price it this low. If they used snapdragon the pricing would be different of course.
