Huawei P40 and P40 Pro specs and price leaks out

The announcement of the Huawei P40 series is just a day away but the known leakster, Roland Quandt has already posted on what we can expect from the Huawei P40 and the P40 Pro. First, both smartphones will run on Kirin 990 5G chipset similar to the Huawei Mate 30 Pro which is still one of the best in the market right now.

The Huawei P40 features a smaller 6.1-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. Compared to last year, we’re getting here a dual-lens selfie camera and of course, there’s the triple-lens rear camera on the smartphone. First, this one has a 50MP Ultravision camera and then there’s the 8MP telephoto sensor and also an ultra wide 16MP camera.

The smartphone will pack a 3800mAh battery and unfortunately, this one would only have a 22.5W fast charging. The smartphone will also feature an 8GB RAM along with 128GB of internal storage.

While the Huawei P40 Pro is the better and larger brother. First, the smartphone features a 6.58-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and also a full HD+ resolution. Just like the Huawei P40, this one features a dual punch hole at the top left corner of the smartphone to give way to the 32MP selfie camera and 3D sensor.

The smartphone also features a RYYB sensor with 50MP UltraVision camera and OIS. The smartphone also features an Octa Phase Detection system with pixel binning. There’s also a new feature that is powered by AI in where you can pick a “golden snap” by shooting within the 1.7 second period.

The Huawei P40 Pro is also expected to sport an ISO up to 51,200 at the back and you’ll be able to shoot 4K on both front and the rear cameras of the smartphone. And oh, we still got here a 50x hybrid zoom on the smartphone.
