Garmin Unveils CIRQA: A Screen-Free Smart Band with 10-Day Battery and No Subscription Required

Garmin has officially announced the CIRQA Smart Band, it is their first screen-free wearable designed for distraction-free fitness and health tracking. Importantly, Garmin does not lock advanced metrics behind a monthly paywall, offering full dashboard access with no subscription required.

Distraction-Free Health Monitoring and 10-Day Battery Life

The Garmin CIRQA features a fabric band designed for comfortable, 24/7 wear around either the wrist or upper arm. Without a power-hungry screen, the smart band achieves a battery life of up to 10 days on a single charge. It tracks standard health metrics such as wrist-based heart rate, stress levels, Pulse Ox, and Garmin’s Body Battery energy monitoring.

Additionally, the tracker includes skin temperature monitoring while sleeping, which integrates with Natural Cycles for FDA-cleared ovulation estimation and birth control tracking.

Comprehensive Sleep Tracking and Advanced Training Insights

For fitness enthusiasts, the CIRQA band features a single side button to manually track over 80 sports activities, including running, walking, and yoga. It also supports connected GPS via a paired smartphone to accurately map outdoor runs, rides, and walks.

Users can access advanced training metrics in the Garmin Connect app, including VO2 Max, training readiness, HRV status, and training status. At night, the band logs sleep stages, respiration, HRV, and sleep scores to help users plan optimal recovery.

The Garmin CIRQA is available in fabric options including Citron Gray, Mauve, French Gray, Dark Olive, Captain Blue, French Blue, and Black.
