Apple has officially introduced a brand-new design for its operating systems called Liquid Glass and it will be available on all devices. The announcement, made during Apple’s recent event, highlights a series of visual and functional updates set to roll out with the next versions of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
The redesigned software brings a lighter and a “glassy” look to Apple devices. Users will notice rounded corners, softer colors, and updated iconography. System-wide animations and transitions will also be unified and will look better than ever.
The new design also allows users to personalize their home screens further including using a dark mode with color or even using a new design that gives you a glass look for everything.
Availability
The refreshed Apple OS design will be available later this year as part of free software updates for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac users. And oh, it will now be called iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, visionOS26, tvOS 26, and WatchOS 26
