Apple announces Self Service Repair starting with iPhone 12 and up

Apple has been known to be strict when it comes to repairing or modifying their devices whether that’s a Macbook or an iPhone but their philosophy is about to change as the company has just announced their Self Service Repair which will be available for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 lineups and will soon be followed by Macs with M1.

Self Service Repair will be available next year in the US and it will expand to additional countries next year. Customers can place an order for the Apple genuine parts and tools using the Apple Self Service Repair Online Store and following the repair, customers can return their used part for recycling and they can receive credit toward their purchase.
