Toyota has unveiled the all-new 2026 Toyota RAV4 and it is the sixth generation of North America’s best-selling SUV. The Toyota RAV4 will come exclusively in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) powertrains, available across three distinct styles: Core, Rugged, and Sport.

Fully Electrified
The 2026 RAV4 HEV models feature Toyota’s 5th generation hybrid system with 236 hp and standard all-wheel drive (AWD) across all variants in Canada. PHEV models, now expanded to four grades, offer up to 320 hp and an estimated 80 km EV range. Select PHEV grades like the XSE Technology Package support DC fast charging, capable of 10% to 80% charge in about 30 minutes.

New Styles: Core, Rugged, and Sport
- Core models (LE, XLE, Limited) feature a sleek hammerhead front end, chiseled body panels, and up to 20-inch wheels.
- Rugged style is exclusive to the Woodland grade, with a raised ride height, all-terrain tires, and roof rails — ready for the outdoors.
- Sport models include SE, XSE, and the all-new GR SPORT, developed with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing. It features a GR-tuned suspension, sporty styling, and exclusive 20-inch wheels.

Tech-Packed Interior
Inside, the RAV4 gets a overhaul with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, up to 12.9-inch touchscreen, and Toyota’s next-gen Multimedia System powered by the new Arene software platform. Features include wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, dual Bluetooth, and improved voice control.
The RAV4 is also the first to feature Toyota Safety Sense 4.0, offering improved detection and safety tech.
