Huawei Y7a vs. Samsung Galaxy A12 vs. vivo Y21i: Which is the best of em’ all?

Lastly there’s the Samsung Galaxy A12 that comes with a 48MP quad-camera setup, a large battery and a 6.5-inch display. The hardware inside this smartphone is decent enough for a daily driver and the aesthetics of this one is unique with different colors available.

Now, let’s compare the three. As for the build quality, both the vivo Y20i and the Huawei Y7a features a more premium glossy look compared to the textured back of the Samsung Galaxy A12. But among the three, the Huawei Y7a features the best ergonomics despite having a larger display thanks to the perfect curves of the smartphone.

All of them pack a large display with the vivo Y20i and the Samsung Galaxy A12 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display while the Huawei Y7a features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display. Not only that the Huawei Y7a has a better, larger, and a sharper display, the Huawei Y7a also features a punch-hole camera instead of a notch that can be found on the Samsung Galaxy A12 and the vivo Y20i.

For the fingerprint scanner, all of the smartphones feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and for the ports, only the Samsung Galaxy A12 and the Huawei Y7a feature a USB-C port while the vivo Y20i features a micro USB port. But when it comes to charging, the Samsung Galaxy A12 only comes with 15W Fast Charging while the vivo Y20i comes with a faster 18W fast charging but then best of them all is the Huawei Y7a with a 22.5W Huawei Super Charge. As for the battery, all of these smartphones comes with 5000mAh battery.

These smartphones are running on different processors with the Huawei Y7a running on Kirin 710A while the vivo Y20i featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 inside and the Samsung Galaxy A12 running on Helio P35 processor and in our benchmark, we saw that the Kirin 710A has a big advantage over the two processors.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 and also the Huawei Y7a comes with a larger 4GB+128GB setup while the vivo Y20i comes with a smaller 4GB+64GB setup. This means that both Samsung Galaxy A12 and the Huawei Y7a can handle more games and applications without asking for an external storage.

The vivo Y20i features a triple lens rear camera with a 13MP main camera along with 2MP macro and 2MP depth camera while the Samsung Galaxy A12 features a 48MP main camera, 5MP uiltrawide camera, 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor and for the Huawei Y7a, there’s the 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP depth lens, and a 2MP macro lens. Basically, the Huawei Y7a got an advantage as not only it has a quad-camera setup but also a better 8MP ultra-wide angle lens.

All in all, the Huawei Y7a does have a big advantage compared to the two smartphones. Not only that it has an advantage when it comes to the looks but the hardware inside the Huawei Y7a is superior. We got here a better and larger display, a faster processor, and also a better camera.
