iPad Mini gets an all-screen design and 5G inside

Apple has refreshed the iPad Mini today and it now features an all-screen design just like the iPad Air and the iPad Pro but it’s just the tip of the iceberg because the new iPad Mini now features a powerful A15 processor inside and also a larger 8.3-inch Liquid Retina Display.

The new iPad Mini will also now use a USB-C port so you can now plug in your external SSD and other accessories and even other devices like cameras to your iPad so you can open and edit your videos and photos directly and on-site.

The display of the tablet will feature 500 nits of brightness, a P3 wide color gamut, anti-reflective screen coating, true tone, and full lamination. It will still have a fingerprint scanner on the power button just like the iPad Air. The new iPad Mini also supports 2nd generation Apple Pencil and you can magnetically charge it on the iPad mini.

For the camera, it will come with a 12MP front-facing camera and rear camera. The front-facing camera comes with Center Stage so you can have a better and wider selfie camera on the iPad. Since we’re using A15 processor on this one, we also got 5G on the iPad Mini.

The Apple iPad Mini starts at USD499 for the WiFi version and $649 for the cellular version. It will be available in Space gray, pink, purple and starlight.
