What to Expect at the Apple Pro and Tell Event

Industry reports indicate that the upcoming showcase will place a strong spotlight on pro-tier computing hardware across the Mac and iPad families.

Headlining the announcements are redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models that could debut touchscreen OLED panels alongside new M5 Pro and M5 Max processors.

These new laptops are reportedly significantly lighter than existing MacBook Pro devices and may integrate Dynamic Island functionality for the first time on macOS.

Beyond flagship laptops, Apple is also expected to introduce a long-rumored OLED iPad mini update to modernize its most compact tablet.

We could also see refreshed desktop configurations, including an updated iMac and standard 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by Apple’s next-generation M6 silicon.

The showcase will kick off on Wednesday, October 28, at 10:00 AM PT in Los Angeles.
