Apple is just weeks away from officially unveiling its first-ever foldable smartphone and according to a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, early testers who have had hands-on access with the foldable Apple device have shared a positive feedback on its form factor and durability.

Pocket-Friendly Portability and Durable Hinge Engineering

Early testers specifically praised the device’s compact engineering. The custom hinge mechanism also earned praised for its robust feel, addressing long-standing durability concerns associated with foldable screens.

Testers also likedthe expansive 7.76-inch inner display, noting that its iPad-like layout makes multitasking and productivity better. The foldable form factor was also commended for its utility as an adaptable camera viewfinder.

5.5-inch Cover Screen, Dual 48MP Cameras, and $2,000 Price Point

Rumored specifications suggest the iPhone Ultra features a 5.5-inch cover screen, a side-mounted Touch ID power button, and a dual rear camera system with a 48MP primary sensor and ultrawide lens.

While testers praised its usability, the absence of a telephoto camera has been a potential drawback, especially considering its rumored $2,000 flagship price tag.
