Samsung is preparing for its launch of the Galaxy S24 lineup, which includes the Galaxy S24 Ultra, S24, and S24 Plus. The official reveal of the Galaxy S24 family is expected at the Galaxy Unpacked event, which was rumored for January 17th next year.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, the flagship variant of the series, will be available in four different colors: Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow. The base Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ models will also come in similar colors. As suggested by the color names, the frame of the flagship will be made from Titanium, similar to the material used on the new iPhones.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will sport a 6.8″ QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The phone is expected to come with a 12 MP selfie camera and a main camera setup that includes a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, a 200 MP wide lens, and a 50 MP telephoto lens. The device is expected to offer internal storage options of 1 TB, 512 GB, or 256 GB, and will come with 12 GB of RAM. The phone is also expected feature a large 5,000 mAh battery.
One of the significant changes in the S24 Ultra compared to its predecessor, the S23 Ultra, is the flat screen. This marks a departure from the curved screens seen in previous models. The improved cooling and large battery suggest a longer battery life.
The Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus will share many of the features of the S24 Ultra, including the new flat screen and the Titanium build. However, they will likely have an option for aluminum armor.
