Human Mobile Devices (HMD) has officially launched the HMD Asha 305 in the Philippines, reviving the iconic Asha branding as a budget-friendly “lite smartphone.” The device comes with a user-removable 2,500mAh battery and Pulse OS based on Android AOSP.
Removable 2,500mAh Battery and Pulse OS with 100+ Preloaded Apps
The HMD Asha 305 features a removable 2,500mAh battery that HMD claims delivers up to 32 hours of standby time on a single charge. The smartphone is running Pulse OS (built on Android AOSP) and the phone provides instant access to more than 100 lite apps including Facebook Lite, Instagram Lite, WhatsApp, TikTok Lite, and YouTube.
It is powered by a Unisoc T137 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and support for dual 4G SIM connectivity.
5-Inch Display, 2MP Cameras, and Official Philippine SRP
Up front, the Asha 305 sports a compact 5-inch FWVGA+ LCD screen. For basic snaps and video calls, the phone carries 2MP cameras on both the front and rear, accompanied by an LED flash on the back. Priced at just Php 3,990 (US$65), the HMD Asha 305 includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C charging, and a wall charger inside the retail box across official stores in the Philippines.
