Smartwatches are commonly used as a tracker for notifications received from your phone and for health and fitness.
Huawei takes it to a different level when they launched their newest flagship wearable, the HUAWEI WATCH 3. One of the notable features of this newest device is its eSIM technology that can re-create the device to be a supplementary assistant next to your mobile phone. The new technology supports a standalone communication system, meaning, you can use and connect wirelessly without a smartphone.
Using eSIM on your wearable lets you connect your mobile number from your current network subscription to be able to receive calls, messages, and access your apps – all made possible and powered by HarmonyOS.
Here’s how to activate eSIM on the Huawei Watch 3
To activate, users have to visit their respective network provider to avail and integrate the service to the device.
To pair with your smartphone, download the Huawei Health App and go to eSIM management and activate the feature. A QR code will then prompt, and you’re set to go.
