Shorter Compact Design: Moving Closer to Traditional Action Cameras

The leaked marketing images reveal that the Insta360 X6 will adopt a shorter and more compact body compared to the elongated “candy bar” shape of previous X-series models. This design brings the camera closer to the dimensions of traditional action cameras.

It still maintains its signature dual-lens setup on the front and back for 360-degree recording. The rear display sits directly below the lens, while the power/record buttons and battery compartment are situated on the side panels.

8K Video at 50FPS: A Massive Framerate Boost for Action Sports

One of the leaked marketing slides confirms that the Insta360 X6 will support 8K resolution video recording at up to 50fps in 360-degree mode. This is a upgnrade over the 8K/30fps recording limits found on the predecessor model.

Insta360 X6 Price and Expected Launch Window

According to preliminary listings, the standard standalone Insta360 X6 is expected to retail for €689 in European markets. An Essentials Bundle featuring basic mounting accessories will also be available for around €789.
