Xiaomi Philippines has launched their newest smartphone to arrive in the market, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 series and the Chinese company will be bringing not one but two smartphones — the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro and just like the previous generations, the Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 Pro will have a very affordable and competitive pricing.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features a quadruple lens rear camera which is the first in the Redmi Note series and it packs a 48MP sensor. The smartphone packs a Snapdragon 665 processor which is pretty powerful enough and then there’s the 4000mAh battery with 18W Fast Charge.
The smartphone packs a 6.3-inch Full HD Dot Drop Display and also a fingerprint scanner at the back of the smartphone. The quad-camera setup is something that is really interesting on the smartphone because this time, 48MP is the main camera and then there’s the 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP Macro Camera, and 2MP Depth Sensor.

Aside from the Redmi Note 8, Xiaomi has also announced the availability of the Redmi Note 8 Pro that packs the latest Helio G90T Processor and then there’s the LiquidCool technology inside which helps in heat dissipation for the SoC and preserving the hardware of the smartphone. The design at the back of the smartphone is also different too as we got the protruding camera at the back in the middle. We also got here a bigger 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
