Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the company’s best camera smartphone. The new smartphone from Xiaomi features a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor inside with an up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and then there’s up to 1TB of storage as well.
There’s a 6.73-inch 1440p AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate with up to 3200 nits brightness. As for the battery, the smartphone comes with a Silicon-Carbide battery with 6000mAh battery with support for up to 90W Wired Charging.
The smartphone comes also with a powerful camera — a 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor with 1-inch sensor, a IMX858 sensor for the mid-zoo,m and then there’s the Samsung JN5 sensor for the ultrawide lens. As for the biggest upgrade, there’s the 100mm zoom camera for the 200MP zoom camera with Samsung HP9 sensor. While for the selfie camera, it comes with a 32MP sensor with f2.0 aperture. The smartphone is also capable of recording videos up to 8K at 30fps.
The smartphone comes with a frame with CNC-crafted aluminum and then there’s the Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0 with improved drop resistance. It comes Black and White but there’s a Silver Chrome Special Edition model with aerospace-grade glass fiber and PU leather which resembles a camera design.
The XIaomi 15 Ultra launches in China for now (hopefully in the future as well) and it starts at CNY 6,499 (CA$ 1,291~/ Php 51,803~)
