Today, Asos has announced that their Zenfone 2 will be discontinued and recalled earlier than expected due to manufacturing and supplier problems but Asos made it sure that they’ll still release a new Zenfone this year and they opt to release the Zenfone 3 today.
“We had several problems in producing the Zenfone 3, that’s why we want to release the Zenfone 3 which is easier and more affordable to produce” says CEO Eason Shen. “The Zenfone 3 starts at a more affordable price and a more powerful hardware than the previous generation ” he added.
The Zenfone 3 is priced at P1,999 only and it is available today, April 1.
