Sony has just a handheld hardware tonight and unlike the Playstation Portable or Playstation Vita, this one won’t be another platform as the new streaming device coined as “Project Q”, will be a companion to your Playstation 5 as it can only stream games from the console.
Project Q will allow consumers to play their Playstation games that are installed on the Playstation 5 as it can stream directly from your console. As expected, VR games wouldn’t run on the Project Q device and it will have na 8-inch display — much bigger than the deck and also the ROG Ally, and it will have a controller with features of a regular PS5 controller.
They’ll also bring a Playstation 5 earbuds that will work on your PS5, PC and your smartphone.
No word yet regarding availability and release.
