Spotify has officially released its 2023 Wrapped, where users can see and share their music journey in 2023.

Beyond the familiar insights into top artists, genres, songs, and podcasts, Spotify also introduced exciting features to bring users closer to the heart of their listening habits. The “Me in 2023” experience unveils 12 distinct listening characters, such as the Shapeshifter or the Luminary, reflecting diverse streaming habits. “Sound Town” takes users on a global journey, matching them to a city based on listening and shared artist affinity, celebrating the interconnectedness of musical preferences worldwide.

Meanwhile, this year, Spotify gives Wrapped a visual upgrade, presenting favorite data stories in a refreshed and innovative way. The “Top 5 Genres” story adopts a sandwich-inspired design to showcase users’ musical preferences. “Top 5 Artists” provides a deeper dive, revealing the month listening peaked for each artist, offering a comprehensive picture of the year’s musical journey. Fans also receive messages from top artists directly within their personalized Wrapped, adding a personal touch to the experience.

Here’s how OPPO is improving their cameras using robotics and AI

OPPO has recently hosted a Tech Insider event for us to witness how OPPO is using their robotics and AI to improve their camera system and also help their R&D in their development of their cameras.

Imaging Lab

In their imaging lab, we were able to see how OPPO improves their smartphones. The area that we visited mimics every possible environment and room that we take photos in including fast food chain room, bakery, grocery, living room, and many more. Each rooms have different lighting and colors which is a perfect environment for taking photos. This gives the R&D team of OPPO an easier way to adjust and calibrate their cameras as they can shoot different scenes and environments in their labs.

AI and Robots

One of their amazing and innovative tool in there is their robots. These robots are no ordinary one as smartphones are mounted into it and they roam around these different rooms and they’re photos independently. This way, engineers and researchers can focus on developing their camera and they now have a controlled environment in where the robots can take photos which will save hours of their working time.

They even have a robot with a head on it so they can take selfies with their smartphones.

The use of AI and robotics in product development and testing definitely helps in OPPO’s commitment to innovation and quality. By automating processes that require high precision and consistency, OPPO ensures that its products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

The Aqua S11 Pro is priced at Php 7,999 and it will come with a Helio G99 processor inside along with 8GB of RAM that can go up to 16GB with its dynamic RAM and then there’s the 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage as well. There’s 33W of fast charging as well and also a 5000mAh battery.

PH achieves Guinness World Record with TNT’s longest travel livestream

In a remarkable feat, the Philippines has officially secured a Guinness World Record for the longest livestream travel, spanning over 26 hours and covering a distance of 75 kilometers from Bustos, Bulacan, to Rizal Park in Manila.

This achievement is also attributed to the Petmaloop Challenge, a unique initiative led by TNT, the value brand of Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart). Meanwhile, the challenge invited content creators to showcase the joyous highlights of their hometowns using TikTok, with the added twist of using only one TNT-powered smartphone passed in a relay among 33 participants.

Guinness World Record Acknowledgment

Fumika Fujibuchi, the Official Adjudicator at Guinness World Records, officially declared, “With 26 hours, 15 minutes, and 29 seconds, TNT has a new Guinness World Record Title! Congratulations!” The livestream journey from Bulacan to Manila exceeded the minimum required hours and met various stringent criteria set by Guinness World Records.

Alfredo S. Panlilio, President and CEO of Smart and PLDT Inc., expressed, “This world-class endeavor is embedded in TNT’s long-time mission of bringing pride to Filipinos everywhere.” Alex O. OnePlus is set to launch their next flagship smartphone this December 4, the OnePlus 12. The company has just teased the smartphone’s specifications and also their similar design. But boy, the design of the smartphone is just so good.

The OnePlus 12 is still expected to come with a camera bump at the back with a circular camera module but this time, the alert slider is now on the right side.
