OPPO intros Reno11 and Reno11 Pro

OPPO has introduced the latest additions to its mid-range lineup, the Reno11 and Reno11 Pro, featuring upgraded chipsets, revamped designs, and improved camera capabilities.

OPPO Reno11

The Reno11 boasts a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 1080p resolution, supporting a 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate. The device features a punch hole for the selfie camera, curved sides for improved handling, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Meanwhile, under the hood, the device is powered by the Dimensity 8200 chipset by Mediatek, an upgrade from its predecessor, the Reno10 Pro, the Reno11 offers improved performance.

Equipped with a 50 MP Sony LYT600 sensor for the main camera, the Reno11 also delivers impressive imaging capabilities with features like autofocus and OIS. In addition, it has a 32 MP portrait camera with 2x zoom and an 8 MP ultra-wide shooter.

With a 4,800mAh battery capacity, a 5% increase from the Reno10, the Reno11 supports 67W fast charging, providing a 0 to 50% charge in just 19 minutes.

Available in Black, Green, or White, the Reno11 is priced at CNY 2,499 for 8/256GB, CNY 2,799 for 12/256GB, and CNY 2,999 for the 12/512GB variant. Pre-orders are live, with sales commencing on November 25.

OPPO Reno11 Pro

Moving on to the Reno11 Pro, it features a 6.74-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels and up to 1,600 nits peak brightness, providing an enhanced visual experience.

Equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, previously featured in the Reno10 Pro+, the Reno11 Pro ensures superior performance.

The Reno11 Pro also upgrades its main camera to a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor, offering improved imaging capabilities. The additional cameras include a 32 MP portrait lens, an 8 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 32 MP front camera.

Meanwhile, with a juice of 4,700mAh, the Reno11 Pro supports 80W fast charging, delivering a 0 to 50% charge in just 11 minutes.

Available in White, Green, or Black, the Reno11 Pro is priced at CNY 3,499 for 12/256GB and CNY 3,799 for 12/512GB. The first sale in China is scheduled for December 1.

Expressing gratitude for the journey they shared in building Tier One Entertainment, Alodia stated, “The journey we shared in building the company has been both challenging and rewarding. However, it has become evident that our visions and values are not aligned. I am grateful for the experiences, relationships, and accomplishments we’ve achieved together.”

While Alodia bids farewell to Tier One, the company acknowledges and appreciates her significant contributions as a co-founder. In a Facebook post, Tier One expressed their gratitude, saying, “We are truly grateful for the time and dedication you have given us over the years. In the Philippines and around the world, you are one of one. You are an unwavering beacon of excellence and continue to be an inspiration to cosplayers, content creators, and our industry as a whole.”

Despite this change, Tier One Entertainment remains a prominent figure in the gaming and entertainment industry. Notable divisions under Tier One include eSports teams Blacklist International and Team Payaman, along with Sharlene San Pedro.

MediaTek has unveiled the Dimensity 8300, designed specifically for premium 5G smartphones. This processor promises to deliver flagship-level experiences, generative AI capabilities, power efficiency, adaptive gaming technology, and fast connectivity.

The Dimensity 8300 is built on TSMC’s 2nd gen 4nm process and features an octa-core CPU with 4x Arm Cortex-A715 cores and 4x Cortex-A510 cores. MediaTek promises a 20% increase in CPU performance and a 30% gain in power efficiency compared to its predecessor. The chipset’s Mali-G615 MC6 GPU upgrade also offers up to 60% greater performance and 55% better power efficiency.

One of the features of the Dimensity 8300 is its full generative AI support. This is made possible by the APU 780 AI processor integrated into the chipset, which allows developers to build innovative applications that leverage large language models (LLMs) up to 10B. The APU 780 shares the same architecture as the flagship Dimensity 9300 SoC, resulting in a 2x improvement in INT and FP16 computation and a 3.3x boost in AI performance over the Dimensity 8200.
