Smartphone upgrades don’t always feel exciting anymore. Many phones today are fast enough, take decent photos, and last a full day. What separates a good upgrade from a forgettable one is whether it meaningfully improves how you use your phone every day. After spending time with the HONOR 600 Pro, it’s clear that this is the kind of device designed for people who want more than just marginal gains.
With a flagship-grade processor, a massive 7,000mAh battery, advanced AI tools, and a refined camera system, the HONOR 600 Pro targets users ready to move up from an older device. It’s especially appealing to those who enjoy experimenting with AI features, create content regularly, or simply need a phone that can keep up with a busy, always-on lifestyle.

HONOR 600 Pro Review: Design
Our first impression of the HONOR 600 Pro’s design was admittedly mixed.
The large camera module immediately draws attention, and its layout closely mirrors the camera arrangement seen on recent iPhone Pro models. Paired with the bold flagship orange color, the overall look initially felt a bit too derivative and, at first glance, slightly tacky for a phone positioned at this price point.
However, that initial reaction changed once we started using the device daily.
In hand, the HONOR 600 Pro feels undeniably premium. The flat metal frame gives it a solid, reassuring grip, while the matte finish helps resist fingerprints and smudges. Despite housing a large battery, the phone remains relatively slim and well-balanced, making it comfortable to use one-handed during commutes or long workdays.
The orange color, while loud at first, grew on us over time. It gives the phone personality and helps it stand out in a sea of black and silver devices. More importantly, the overall build quality inspires confidence, with high-level water and dust resistance that makes the phone feel ready for daily wear and tear.
HONOR 600 Pro Review: Display
The HONOR 600 Pro features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it’s one of the phone’s strongest features.
In daily use, the screen feels smooth and responsive, whether we were scrolling through social media, replying to emails, or switching between multiple apps. The high refresh rate makes animations feel fluid, while the sharp resolution ensures text and images remain crisp.

Brightness is where this display performs well. Outdoor visibility is excellent, even under direct sunlight, which proved especially useful when navigating, checking messages on the go, or shooting photos outside. Watching videos, editing photos, and browsing content all feel immersive thanks to the slim bezels and vibrant color reproduction.
HONOR also includes multiple eye-comfort features, such as advanced dimming and blue light reduction. These don’t immediately stand out, but during late-night scrolling or extended reading sessions, the reduced eye strain becomes noticeable.
HONOR 600 Pro Review: Software and Performance
Under the hood, the HONOR 600 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. In practical terms, performance feels effortless.
Throughout our time with the phone, everything ran smoothly. Apps launched quickly, multitasking was seamless, and even demanding tasks like photo editing, video uploads, and AI-powered features didn’t slow the device down. There’s a sense of headroom here that makes the phone feel future-proof, especially for users who plan to keep their devices for several years.
MagicOS 10, based on Android 16, strikes a good balance between feature-rich and approachable. Customization options are plentiful, yet the interface remains easy to navigate. System animations feel polished, and overall stability has been solid during our usage.
AI plays a major role in the software experience. The dedicated AI button quickly became part of our routine, offering fast access to smart features depending on what we were doing. From AI writing tools and translation to smart search and contextual shortcuts, these additions feel genuinely useful rather than gimmicky.

HONOR 600 Pro Review: Camera
The HONOR 600 Pro’s camera setup is led by a 200MP main sensor, supported by a telephoto lens, an ultra-wide camera, and a high-resolution 50MP front-facing camera.
In daylight, the main camera delivers sharp, detailed photos with natural colors and balanced contrast. Images often look ready to share straight out of the camera, which is ideal for users who don’t want to spend time editing before posting.
Portrait shots are a highlight. Subject separation is clean, edge detection performs well, and background blur looks natural in most scenarios. The telephoto lens adds flexibility for travel and casual zoom shots, while improved stabilization helps keep images steady, especially when shooting handheld.
Low-light performance is dependable. Night shots retain good detail, highlights are reasonably controlled, and optical image stabilization helps reduce blur. Video quality is stable and well-suited for everyday content creation, including short-form videos for social platforms.
The standout feature, however, is AI Image-to-Video 2.0.
This tool allows still photos to be transformed into short animated clips, adding motion and depth to images. We found it particularly fun for travel photos and portraits. Results vary depending on the source image, but when it works well, it adds a creative touch that feels genuinely engaging rather than purely experimental.

HONOR 600 Pro Review: Battery Life
Battery life is where the HONOR 600 Pro truly excels.
The 7,000mAh battery is one of the largest we’ve seen in this category, and it delivers outstanding endurance. Even on heavy-use days filled with photography, navigation, AI features, social media, and messaging, the phone consistently lasted until late evening with battery to spare.
For lighter users, stretching usage into a second day is entirely realistic.
Fast wired charging helps offset the large battery size, making quick top-ups easy before heading out. Wireless charging adds convenience for desk or bedside use, further enhancing the overall battery experience.
For young professionals, travelers, and users who are constantly on the move, this level of reliability makes a real difference.

Verdict
Priced at Php49,999, the HONOR 600 Pro is not an impulse buy. The jump places it firmly in premium territory, which means it won’t appeal to everyone—especially in a market where value-for-money remains a key consideration.
However, after using the device, it’s clear where that price goes.
You get a powerful flagship processor, a bright and immersive 6.57-inch display, a versatile 200MP camera system with creative AI tools, and one of the best battery experiences available today. While we weren’t immediately sold on the design—particularly its familiar camera layout—the solid build quality and everyday usability helped it grow on us.
If you’re upgrading from an older smartphone, enjoy experimenting with AI features, or need a device that can keep up with long, demanding days, the HONOR 600 Pro makes a strong case for itself. It’s a premium Android phone that focuses less on hype and more on delivering a dependable, feature-rich experience where it matters most.
