ASUS Googlebook 14 Launched with Intel Core Ultra, 3K OLED, and Gemini Intelligence

If you have been waiting for a truly premium cloud-first ultraportable, the ASUS Googlebook 14 has officially landed in Canada. Weighing at 0.99 kilograms, this 14-inch flagship represents ASUS’s first laptop built from the ground up for Gemini Intelligence.

Under the hood you get the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 silicon paired with a 3K OLED touchscreen. ASUS and Google are bundling some massive software perks to make this an enticing mobile productivity machine.

Featherweight 0.99kg Nano Ceramic Chassis and 3K OLED Display

The first thing that will strike you with this device is how light this machine feels in the hand. ASUS crafted the chassis using CNC-machined magnesium-aluminum alloy treated with a scratch-resistant Nano Ceramic finish in Dusk Ash.

Measuring just 10.9 millimeters thin, it still passes US military-grade MIL-STD-810H durability testing. You also get a six-point haptic force touchpad and a backlit keyboard with a generous 1.5mm key travel.

For your eyes, the 14-inch 16:10 OLED panel runs at a 3K resolution of 2880 by 1800 with a buttery 120Hz refresh rate. It peaks at 1000 nits in HDR and sports Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with a matte anti-glare etching to eliminate reflections.

Intel Core Ultra Series 3 Performance and Whisper-Quiet Cooling

Canadian buyers can configure the laptop with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor 355 or an Intel Core Ultra 5 Processor 325.

Both chips feature Intel AI Boost NPUs capable of up to 49 TOPS for dedicated on-device machine learning tasks. You also get 16GB of rapid LPDDR5X 7467 MT/s dual-channel memory and a fast 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

Despite the slim profile, a custom whisper-quiet cooling solution keeps thermals well under control during heavy multitasking. A substantial 70Wh battery promises up to 18 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge.

Googlebook OS: Seamless Android Synergy and Gemini Intelligence

Running on Googlebook OS, the laptop creates a proper bridge with your Android smartphone. With Continue On, you can start drafts or tasks on your phone and immediately resume them on the big screen.

Cast My Apps lets you interact directly with mobile apps without ever reaching for your handset. Gemini Intelligence is baked deeply into daily workflows, featuring Magic Pointer so you can summon AI assistance with a quick cursor wiggle.

There is also Rambler, which converts spoken thoughts into structured summaries, checklists, and documents on the fly. Every purchase includes 12 months of Google AI Pro with 5TB cloud storage, plus trials for Adobe Premiere, CapCut Pro, and GeForce NOW.
