Honor X8e 4G Debuts with 108MP Camera, 7700mAh Battery, and IP69K Rugged Durability

HONOR has quietly unveiled its entry-level smartphone lineup with the official unveiling of the Honor X8e 4G,. Spotted through official retailer listings in Azerbaijan, the device closely resembles the recently launched Honor X7e Plus while catering to budget-conscious users.

108MP Main Camera with Dedicated Underwater Photography

The standout feature of the HONOR X8e 4G is its 108MP main camera with an f/1.75 aperture, an uncommon sensor resolution for an entry-tier device.

The camera system is engineered to capture high-detail stills and is paired with a secondary depth sensor alongside a dedicated underwater photography mode.

Video recording tops out at 1080p resolution, while selfies and video calls are handled by a 5MP front-facing camera housed inside a centered display punch-hole cutout.

7700mAh High-Capacity Battery and IP69K Extreme Durability

There’s a 7700mAh battery that easily promises multi-day usage between charges.

When it is time to recharge, the phone supports 45W wired Honor SuperCharge fast charging over a USB Type-C port.

Durability is another major selling point, with the device boasting IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications against dust, high-pressure water jets, and high-temperature water sprays.

It also earns an SGS 5-star impact resistance rating tested from heights up to 2.5 meters, can withstand temperature swings from -30 degrees Celsius to +50 degrees Celsius, and features wet-hand touch recognition for operating in heavy rain.

6.87-inch 120Hz Eye-Comfort Display and Snapdragon 685 Hardware

On the front, the phone features a 6.87-inch TFT LCD panel offering an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1592 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

The screen reaches up to 1,020 nits of peak brightness, ensuring clear outdoor legibility under direct sunlight.

Under the hood, processing is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 octa-core processor paired with an Adreno 610 GPU.

The chipset is matched with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, running on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 straight out of the box.

Additional connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX HD and LDAC codec support, and multifunctional NFC.

HONOR X8e 4G Pricing and International Availability

The HONOR X8e 4G has made its initial appearance across regional retail channels in Azerbaijan with price tags ranging between AZN 688 and AZN 820 for the 6GB and 256GB configuration.

That converts to approximately USD to USD, placing the device competitively against rival entry-level endurance phones.

Honor has not yet announced international release schedules or official Philippine availability for the handset.
