We finally have our first taste of Intel’s discrete graphics card powered by the Xe Architecture in the form of Acer’s Swift 3X laptop. Intel Xe is Intel’s first dGPU offering which is lead by former AMD Radeon Graphics head, Raja Koduri. Alongside the Iris Xe MAX, the Acer Swift 3X also comes with Intel’s latest 11th Gen Tiger Lake processor.
The Acer Swift 3X highlights “on-the-go” performance for both work and gaming thanks to the Tiger Lake + Iris Xe MAX combination. Coming in at only 1.37 kg, the Acer Swift 3 is definitely a light laptop and Acer claims up to 17.5 hours of battery life thanks to Intel’s latest processors.
The Swift 3X has a 14-inch 1080p IPS screen covering 72% NTSC color gamut with an 84% screen-to-body ratio. Since it’s powered by Intel’s 11th generation Tiger Lake CPU, the Swift 3X also supports Intel Wi-Fi6(Gig+), USB-C, Thunderbolt 4, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports for expanded connectivity.
The Acer Swift 3X will be available in North America by December starting at $899.99(Php 43,562). There is no word yet on Philippine availability but we should expect it to arrive by the holiday season as well.
