Meta has officially launched a dedicated desktop app for its Meta AI chatbot on macOS. The new app allows users to interact with Meta’s AI assistant directly on their Mac computers to boost productivity, answer queries, and analyze on-screen workflows.
Window Sharing Capabilities, Contextual Screen Understanding, and System-Wide Dictation
With the new macOS application, users can share specific application windows directly with Meta AI. The chatbot can analyze on-screen content to offer suggestions, answer questions, and draft text or summarize documents based on what is currently displayed.
Meta AI on Mac also features system-wide dictation support.
Business and Creator Tools: Integration with Facebook, Instagram, Meta Ads, and Google Workspace
Alongside the Mac release, Meta is rolling out deep productivity integrations for creators and businesses across web, mobile, and macOS.
The assistant can now connect directly with Instagram and Facebook accounts, Meta ad campaigns, and Google Workspace. Businesses can use Meta AI to analyze post reach, likes, comments, shares, and saves, helping generate recommendations for upcoming content schedules.
The app can also pull account data and web information to automatically generate presentations, documents, spreadsheets, and recurring weekly performance reports.
