Software Updates Continue with Voluntary ColorOS Transition
Despite the exit from new hardware releases, OnePlus has committed to supporting the devices in the region. Eligible devices will continue to receive scheduled OxygenOS software updates, security patches, and active customer service support. However, a major change is coming to the brand’s software strategy following the release of ColorOS 17. OnePlus has announced that eligible North American devices will have the option to voluntarily update to Oppo’s ColorOS operating system.
