Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus Unveiled with faster CPU and better AI engine

Qualcomm has surprised us today at MWC 2021 with their announcement of the Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. The SoC will come with a faster 3GHz prime CPU which is the ARM Cortex-X1 core and it will also feature a better AI engine that performs 20% better.

The chipset is very similar to the original Snapdragon 888 but it has faster clocks and the AI has improved from 26 TOPS to 32TOPS while the GPU is still the same at Adreno 660 GPU and then there’s the Snapdragon X60 5G for the modem

Different devices are expected to come out with Snapdragon 888+ chipset this year.
