Smart emphasizes that customers can keep their current mobile numbers when upgrading to an eSIM. So you don’t have to switch numbers on your accounts anymore.
Convenient transfer of Smart eSIM to another device
Secondly, eSIMs offer the convenience of easily transferring the eSIM profile to a new device by just scanning the QR. You need to have an eSIM compatible device.
It’s easy to upgrade to eSIM
Prepaid subscribers can visit a Smart Store with their physical SIM and a valid ID for a fee of PHP99, while postpaid customers can upgrade at no additional cost. Non-Smart subscribers can also switch to a Smart Prepaid eSIM by providing their current network’s Unique Subscriber Code and required documents.
