The Redmi Note 11 is definitely one of the best smartphones in its price range as the smartphone offers pretty good hardware for its price. The smartphone offers a 90Hz AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 680 processor and 33W charging but how does it compare in the competition? Today, we’re gonna compare the Redmi Note 11 vs. the Samsung Galaxy A32 and the OPPO A94.

Design

All of these smartphones come in different finishes but they’re all pretty good to hold and the ergonomics of the smartphones are fine. The Samsung Galaxy A32 and the OPPO A94 come in a curved sides glossy finish at the back but the Galaxy A32 comes in a plain color while the OPPO A94 comes in a gradient design. While the Redmi Note 11 comes in a matte back with a flat frame.

Thankfully, all of the smartphones come with USB-C ports and also a headphone jack but they do come in different charging speeds with the Samsung Galaxy A32 sporting an up to 15W charging while the OPPO A94 can do an up to 30W charging but the Redmi Note 11 wins the race with its faster 33W charging inside.

Display

The display is very essential whether you’re a casual user or you’re a gamer and with these three smartphones, we’re getting decent screen sizes but the quality of three is really different. First, the OPPO A94 comes with a 6.43-inch display with an AMOLED panel but it only comes with a 60Hz refresh rate while the Samsung Galaxy A32 comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate with a notch at the top while the Redmi Note 11 comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate with a cleaner punch-hole selfie camera.

It’s pretty clear the Redmi Note 11 wins the display category as it features a larger display, an AMOLED panel with a higher refresh rate and also a cleaner selfie camera with its punch-hole cut-out.

Battery

When it comes to the battery, the smartphones comes in different sizes. The OPPO A94 comes with a 4310mAh battery while the Samsung Galaxy A32 and the Redmi Note 11 come with 5000mAh battery. In my usage, the Redmi Note 11 tends to have a longer battery life compared to the other two while the OPPO A94 comes in second. Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 is probably good when it comes to battery conservation.

And again, the Redmi Note 11 also comes with a faster 33W charging so it gives you an advantage as well when it comes to charging.

Performance

The performance of the smartphones is where it gets interesting as they have different chipsets inside. The Samsung Galaxy A32 features a MediaTek Helio G80 processor inside while the OPPO A94 comes with a Helio P95 processor and the Redmi Note 11 comes with the latest Snapdragon 680 processor which is getting popular among midrange 2022 smartphones.

Overall, the performance of these smartphones are very close to each other. In Geekbench, we saw that the Single core score of the Redmi Note 11 is in the middle and quite close to the OPPO A94 while the Galaxy A32 falls behind but in the Multi-core score, there’s a significant difference between the three and the Redmi Note 11 gives off the higher score.

Camera

For the camera of the smartphone, The OPPO A94 comes with a 48MP quad camera setup while the Samsung Galaxy A32 comes with a 64MP quad camera setup and the Redmi Note 11 comes with a 50MP quad camera setup. Those are just numbers but the real fight here is when it comes to quality.

In our shots, the Samsung Galaxy A32 got the better lighting and brighter image followed by the OPPO A94 but the better dynamic range goes to the Redmi Note 11. It also gives a better and sharper image among the three.

Among the three selfies, the Galaxy A32 is my favorite one when it comes to the colors but the Redmi Note 11 does offer a sharper and more detailed shot.

When it comes to this shot, the OPPO A94 got a better shot overall as it produces the right colors and also the better details. The Galaxy A32 also showed a more saturated colors while the Redmi Note 11 produces colors in the middle.

Verdict

These three smartphones have their own strengths and weaknesses but what sets these smartphones apart are the prices. The Samsung Galaxy A32 is priced at Php13,990 while the OPPO A94 comes with a more affordable price at Php11,990 while the Redmi Note 11 starts at Php8,999 which is way more affordable than the two smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy A32 and the OPPO A94 did perform as we expected but the Redmi Note 11 overall gives you a bigger advantage among the three as the smartphone managed to get a better experience in different aspects and yet, we still got a more affordable price on the smartphone.

So if we’re talking about the best value for money smartphone in here, it’s definitely the Redmi Note 11.
