ASUS ROG has officially launched the 2026 ROG Strix gaming laptop lineup in the Philippines, including the new ROG Strix G16, ROG Strix G18, and the flagship ROG Strix SCAR 18. The latest models features an upgraded ROG Nebula displays, the latest Intel Core Ultra HX processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, improved cooling, and tool-less access for easier RAM and SSD upgrades.

ROG Strix G16 and G18 Get 300Hz Nebula Displays
The 2026 ROG Strix G16 and Strix G18 now come with 2.5K ROG Nebula displays with 300Hz refresh rate. Select configurations are powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. ASUS also improved the cooling system with an end-to-end vapor chamber, Tri-Fan Technology, and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal, reducing internal temperatures by up to 15 degrees celsius.
ROG Strix SCAR 18 Comes With a 4K 240Hz Mini LED Display
The 2026 ROG Strix SCAR 18 features an 18-inch 4K 240Hz Mini LED display with more than 2,000 dimming zones, 1,600 nits peak brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, paired with 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD, capable of reaching 320W total system power. The SCAR 18 also features an AniMe Vision display on the lid with 810 LEDs for animations and custom graphics.
Tool-Less Upgradability
All 2026 ROG Strix models feature a patented tool-less chassis design with ASUS’ Q-Latch system for easy SSD installation, making RAM and storage upgrades more accessible than ever.
Philippine Pricing and Availability
The 2026 ROG Strix lineup is now available in the Philippines. All models come bundled with an ROG backpack, an ROG gaming mouse, 3 months of PC Game Pass, 1 year of Microsoft 365 Basic, and the ASUS No. 1 Quality and Service Package (3-year international/local warranty + 1-year accidental damage protection).
