HUAWEI is bringing its latest smartwatch designed for children to the Philippines.The HUAWEI WATCH Kids X1 will officially be available in the Philippines starting June 30, 2026, with an introductory promo price of PHP 13,999.
Accurate Location Tracking for Parents
One of the biggest features of the HUAWEI WATCH Kids X1 is its location tracking system. It supports GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS, along with dual-band GNSS for outdoor positioning and dual-band Wi-Fi for more complex indoor locations.
Through the HUAWEI FamCare app, parents can check their child’s location, monitor the watch’s battery level, manage contacts, control usage time, and receive charging reminders. Parents can also create customized safe and danger zones. The watch can send a notification when a child enters or exits these areas, giving parents an extra layer of awareness throughout the day.
The School Guard feature adds automatic alerts when children arrive at or leave school and home.
Parental Controls and Emergency Features
The HUAWEI WATCH Kids X1 includes several tools designed to reduce distractions and protect children in urgent situations. Its Class Mode limits the watch’s functions during school hours, displaying only the time while still allowing incoming calls from approved contacts.
For emergencies, children can press the side button five times to activate an SOS alert. The watch will immediately notify designated contacts and share the child’s real-time location.The smartwatch supports global 2G, 3G, and 4G connectivity, allowing children to stay connected whether they’re at school, at home, or traveling.
HD Video Calls with AI Noise Cancellation
The watch supports HD video calling with AI-powered noise cancellation. This helps make voices clearer and reduces background noise during calls, which is especially useful in busy environments like classrooms or playgrounds.

Health, Activity and Social Features
The watch includes a PPG optical heart-rate sensor that can present a child’s emotional state through expressive characters on the display. This makes it easier for kids to communicate how they’re feeling to parents. HUAWEI notes that the health information is intended for reference and should not be used for medical purposes.
Children can track their steps, join activity leaderboards, and send encouragement to friends. The Shake to Add Friends feature lets kids connect with nearby watch users, with all friend requests requiring parental approval before they go through.
Battery Life and Water Resistance
The HUAWEI WATCH Kids X1 features an 850mAh battery rated for up to 32 hours of use. Its fast-charging system can restore up to 50 percent of the battery in around 20 minutes. The watch also carries IPX8 and IPX9 water-resistance ratings with 2 ATM protection, making it suitable for splashing, rain, and light swimming.

The HUAWEI WATCH Kids X1 is priced at PHP 13,999 during its introductory promotion. Starting June 23, online customers can claim a PHP 2,000 early-bird voucher through the HUAWEI Online Store and HUAWEI’s official Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop stores.
