Leaked camera housing protectors for the iPhone 18 Pro have surfaced on the internet and it shows a new Burgundy/Dark Cherry color option along with Sky Blue one and also a Black one which is making a comeback this year.

The images show lens protectors labeled “P18 Pro,” available in black, silver, burgundy, and blue. While these are third-party accessories, they are often based on early supply chain data.

iPhone 18 Pro Burgundy/Dark Cherry color revealed

The biggest highlight from the leak is the Burgundy color, which matches previous rumors about a new Dark Cherry or a wine finish for the iPhone 18 Pro. This deeper red tone is expected to replace brighter orange color from previous generations. The sky blue and silver variants also align with rumored Light Blue and Silver finishes.

The leaked camera housing protectors confirm that the iPhone 18 Pro camera layout will retain its triple-lens setup, including cutouts for LiDAR and other sensors. This indicates Apple is keeping the same general design while focusing on internal upgrades.

Despite the similar design, the iPhone 18 Pro camera is rumored to receive a major upgrade with a variable aperture system on its 48MP main sensor. This would allow the camera to adjust light intake dynamically, improving performance in both low-light and bright conditions. A feature we have seen before on HUAWEI smartphones.

iPhone 18 Pro release timeline

The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to be announced during Apple’s usual fall event in September 2026, alongside other models in the lineup.
