Samsung Galaxy S8 Might Feature a Desktop Mode

One of the innovations that I really love on smartphones that never got off was the desktop mode. This feature appeared on the Moto Atrix which was released a few years ago and also Windows Phone’s Continuum. But come on, those features didn’t really make a mark in the market.

But recently, an article from The Guardian cited that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature an all-screen design, USB Type C, Snapdragon 835 support and a feature called “DeX” which basically turn your smartphone into a desktop by just plugging it to an external display, mouse, and a keyboard.

Well, this is really an interesting concept but I hope that Samsung can really execute it well.
